Danny and Andrea Steinmetz founded Recreational Repair of Detroit Lakes Minnesota in November of 2024. After gaining more than 35 years of experience in powersport mechanics, Danny acquired skills in all areas from oil changes and tune ups to complete engine rebuilds on boats, jetskis, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, four wheelers, and motorcycles. We have all the necessary tools for full diagnostic readings, tuning, vapor honing, and custom sled builds. If we can't fix it, it's not broken.

We have the ability to plug into any powersport machine with an ECM to give you best diagosis on any problem you may have with it! We can also reprogram jetski and boat tethers!

Whether your boat/jetski is a two stroke or four, we can ensure your machine will be able to endure the low temperatures of the upper midwest without any damage!
